5 Simple understandings on how to get rid of negative thoughts
During the dramatic pandemic in 2020 and later 2021, I was on a total emotional rollercoaster. Although I got the best chances for study or career I dropped out of college after only 2 days with suicidal thoughts. I thought it was the end of my life. But I kept going, and I felt that there is something more to see and experience. So I went and applied for a scholarship in gastronomy but I got rejected because they didn´t like my clothes(haha). So I got a lot of strife in my family and I didn´t know what to do. Our financial security seemed to fall apart, I need to mention that I have a single mom and we need somehow to pay our bills.
I was always dreaming to be a playboy, travelling around the world and be a successful businessman. But it didn´t come like this. I was depressed during 2020 and anxiety-ridden 24/7 in 2021 and 2022. I also got unfortunately friend zoned by a girl and was jealous along the way. A week or so later I saw a book on Amazon called "THE GREATEST SECRET" by Rhonda Byrne and I couldn't believe that they promised how to overcome fear, anxiety and stress. I ordered it and read every day a chapter. I didn't really understand it but I watched on YT the live videos of the author as an add-on.
So I came across a technique that changed my whole life.

Tip #1 -Your Are Not Your Thoughts
You were here before a came thought and you are there after a thought disappears...right?
Tip #2 - Hidden
You might think that I am lying to you...
I used to believe also my thoughts in my head and kept identifying with them.
But the truth is right here and so simple that it has been overlooked throughout the centuries of humankind.

Tip #3 - The mind´s 3 thoughts
The mind is just like a computer program. It has only three kinds of thoughts. :
comparison (I prefer a Mercedes over a Skoda)
measurement( it takes 3 hours to get there)
describing (as you couldn´t see things)
Tip #4 - From Mind To Heart
Once you take away your energy from the chatter of the mind, you will enter your heart.
There is no better approach to life than living from your heart. It has another fragrance.
Tip #5 - Welcome Practice- Just Do This!
You just need to do this: allow your negative thoughts and emotions to be there.
Don´t try to get rid of them by resisting or repressing them. Just welcome like a sunny day that has come.
It´s hard in the beginning because of the constant habit of thinking but gradually you would feel relief.
I did it by opening up my attention wide like a camera and entering into a no-mind state where unnecessary thoughts cease.
So you no longer feed the negativity of your mind with your attention but focus just on being.

Just let go of the ego mind and you´re on your way to absolute happiness and freedom.
